MUSIC : GANGLION : 1995-1999

Literally meaning "a bundle of nerves" in medical vernacular the term Ganglion, as a play on words, becomes the appropriate nom de plum to set the tone for the jittery soundscapes that comprise this catalog of demonstration tapes. The collection below consists mostly of repetitive aural themes with little structure where bleeps and blips are as standard as beats and bass.

Most every track was recorded 8-bit at 22 kHz because of RAM and HD limitations of the Apple 5400. Some cuts from '96 & '97 were done at 11.1 kHz on a Apple IIci. All tracks were recorded, arranged, processed and mixed down with SoundEffects 0.9.2 and a calculator.
